Piper PA 28-161 Cherokee Warrior II 1982

My Panel (Before and After)
This is the first airplane I have owned and it contained an S-Tec 40 A/P. 2 KX 155 with glide slopes and a KLN 90A. and a storm scope. It was a good foundation upon which to build especially with the existing autopilot. We upgraded to the Aspen and a Garmin 430 W. and coupled this through the GPSS steering via the Aspen 1000 to the Stec autopilot it made for a powerful combination we removed one of the KX 155 and kept everything else and removed an ADF moving the DG over to the right side of the panel . The Garmin 430W Steers it on the magenta line like it is on rails doing holding patterns procedure turns etc. We are absolutely delighted with his performance
My Aspen Experience
Absolutely loves flying with the evolution. Our experience has been flawless. I flying is now much more precise and this is going to be instrumental in obtaining my instrument rating. My partner is already instrument rated and has mastered the system we couldn’t be happier we are doing many more across countries with the aid of this powerful avionics system.
