My Panel (Before and After)
I bought N362JM, a 1976 Mooney 20F, a little over 10 years ago with about 1300 hrs TT on the airframe. I don’t have electronic pictures at that time to share, but it was essentially a standard panel at that time (KX 170b’s, standard six pack steam gauges, etc.). Virtually everything that is staring back at me in the panel now (except for the engine strip gauges, clock, MP gage, RPM, and Suction Gage) are new.
I have meticulously built this airplane over the years, carefully selecting new state of the art technology and platforms (as they became available) to meet my needs in designing this airplane. When I saw the Aspen technology at Oshkosh in 2007, I knew I had found the right company who had thought about the proper way to retrofit an older airplane and upgrade it to the latest technology available.
My Aspen Experience
Customer Support - The BEST I have found in 30 years of being in General Aviation! (including outstanding support on some early product launch issues on my initial EFD 1000 PFD system in 2008).
Product and Technology - There is nothing on the market to compare with the functional capability (including PFD redundancy) and attention to needs of the retrofit market like the Aspen system.

About Me
I learned to fly from my father and received my private pilot’s license in 1979. Over 2000 hours later, I now hold an ATP license with AMEL and commercial ASEL ratings. I have always flown for my own personal (and business) needs and sought continuous improvement through training and obtaining advanced ratings.
