My Panel (Before and After)

My Cherokee was well equipped with a Garmin 430 when I got the airplane. It also has a Garmin transponder and KX-155.

I wanted the upgrade because I like the new technology and it was affordable. I think if you’re going to fly in a modern sky, you need modern avionics, and I like that Aspen has made something that works in practically every airplane out there.

I started out only wanting an HSI, but doing research I found that for not much more than a slaved mechanical HSI, I could get so much more with an Aspen.

My Aspen Experience

I don’t have alot of time behind the Aspen, but I have a lot of glass experience and was comfortable right away.
