Aspen’s Cessna 421 Getting An EFD1000 Installed Into Co-Pilot Panel
![]()
Aspen Avionics’ Cessna 421C Golden Eagle is having an Evolution Flight Display installed into the co-pilot’s panel this week, as well as some other upgrades and repairs. The plane will be utilized as part of the FAA certification process. The C421 will also be used for flight demonstrations for customers, press and dealers.
At a later date, the plane will also have an EFD1000 PFD installed into the pilot’s panel.
Aspen pilots fly the 421 to all major tradeshows, and the plane is often tied down on the flight ramp or in the GA parking area. It has a prominent Aspen Avionics logo aft of the cabin door, so if you see us after arrival or during pre-flight at one of the shows, don’t hesitate to drop by and say “hello.”
